IAM vs AdsPower vs GPM-Login — honest comparison from 2 years of running all 3

When IAM beats AdsPower, when GPM-Login wins, and the one feature that decides everything for accounts farms over 200 accounts.

TL;DR

Use IAM for IG-only farms above 50 accounts, when you want native task scheduling without writing scripts. Use AdsPower when you need cross-platform browsing across IG, TikTok, FB ads, and Amazon. Use GPM-Login when you have a small (10-30) extra-high-value cohort and need maximum fingerprint isolation per profile.

Below — what actually decides each.

Stack we ran on each

  • Same 200-account cohort (autoreg + aged mix)
  • Same mobile 4G proxies (1 acc per port for DM tasks, 5 per port for views)
  • Same warm-up curve, same DM templates
  • 30-day measurement window

Where IAM wins

  • Native automation scheduler. Mass DM, mass story view, mass follow, auto-reply — all built-in, no scripts. AdsPower needs RPA modules at $0.10/run; GPM-Login leaves it to you.
  • Resource per account. 40 MB idle vs 120-180 MB. On a $30/mo VPS we get 200 accounts on IAM, ~80 on AdsPower.
  • IG-specific anti-detection. TLS-fingerprint-per-account is shipped from day one; AdsPower requires the "anti-detect Pro" tier upgrade.

Where AdsPower wins

  • If your team also runs FB ads, TikTok shop, or Amazon stores — one tool covers all.
  • Browser extensions you need for non-IG work install once and propagate.
  • Team collaboration features (shared profiles, role-based access) are a generation ahead of IAM.

Where GPM-Login wins

  • Maximum fingerprint isolation — independent canvas, audio, fonts, timezone per profile. We don't see this make a measurable difference under 50 accounts, but for 5 high-value 100k+ pages we'd pick it.
  • If you do not need automation and just want to manually run accounts in tabs.

The deciding feature for 200+ accounts

It's native task scheduling. Once you go past 200 accounts, the script-runner overhead in AdsPower / GPM-Login becomes the bottleneck. IAM's built-in scheduler queues, retries, and rate-limits in-process — single-binary, single-line of logging. We've benchmarked it at 50× faster end-to-end campaign setup than AdsPower + scripts.

Our course is IAM-specific because that's where the most actionable knowledge lives. The patterns transfer to AdsPower if you're forced to use it (Module 11 has a section on this).
