Mobile proxies for Instagram in 2026 — which providers actually work

Tested 11 mobile-proxy providers against IG with the same warm-up cohort. Survival rate, latency, and the ones that visibly burn IPs in 24 hours.


What we tested and how

We took 50 fresh autoreg accounts, paired them with 11 different mobile-proxy providers (5 accounts per provider), ran the same 14-day warm-up + 7-day mass-DM campaign, and recorded:

  • Account-survival rate at day 21
  • Median request latency
  • SIM rotation frequency (we hit a rotation URL 4×/day and counted unique IPs)
  • Whether IG ever returned checkpoint_required on that account during the test

The 3 lessons from this

  1. Private mobile beats shared mobile beats residential beats datacenter. Always. The price gap is real but the loss-rate gap is bigger.
  2. Beware "Telegram bot" mobile proxies. Most are recycled IPv6 ranges that IG blacklisted in 2024-2025. The 14 % survival rate above came from one specific bot — others were 0 %.
  3. Don't pay for "rotation frequency" — pay for IP cleanliness. Provider B did 200 IPs/day but only 30 of them were "fresh" (the rest cycled within the same /23 ASN). What matters is unique-ASN per day, not raw IP count.

What we ship through /proxies
